Dear Boise Stake Members,
On Saturday, April 15th, we are sponsoring a special Temple & Family History Day for the Boise Stake. All adult members and youth are invited to participate with us, and there are a variety of ways to do this. Activities can be selected to suit each person's interest and schedule. Some of the activities require signup. Signup links are included for each of these. Please see the schedule and signup links below.
We look forward to spending time together on the 15th to enjoy the spirit of this special work!

Temple Walk
- There will be an optional walk from the Duncan lane building to the Temple on the Morning of April 15th! (6:30 am start time, approximately 2.5 hours) For more details and to sign up, click HERE or call April Southwick: 208-908-1090. Adults & Youth are welcome to participate. We'll be walking in comfortable clothes and shoes, and a shuttle will be available to transfer Sunday and Temple clothing for any who plan to attend an endowment or baptismal session later that day.

Brunch/Lunch
- 9:00 am-3:00 pm. We’ll have a meal & snack area set up in the cultural hall of the Cole Rd. church building next to the Boise Temple throughout the morning and afternoon. Stop in for something tasty before or after a Temple session, FamilySearch class, or after completing the morning walk to the temple. Or just drop by anytime between 9am and 3pm to visit and enjoy a meal with us! No sign-up necessary. We’d love to see you!
Endowment & Baptism Sessions
- Endowment Sessions: For those who would like to participate in an endowment session on the 15th, please schedule any session time that works for you. Don’t forget to pop over to the church building next to the temple for brunch or lunch before or after your session. There will be a basket of names of ancestors needing work done in the brunch area that will be set up in the cultural hall at the Cole Rd. church building. Please feel free to take one or more to do baptism or endowment work for. Just as you normally would, you’ll need to schedule your preferred endowment session time directly with the Boise Temple, either online or over the phone. - Baptismal Sessions: We have reserved the entire baptistry for members of the Boise Stake at 10:00 am and 11:00 am on the 15th. Please sign up HERE if you'd like to participate in one of these Baptismal sessions or call/text Deena Loveland: 208-891-0671. Adults & Youth are welcome to participate.
Family Search Classes
- Family Search Classes will be held in the FamilySearch Center at the back (West) end of the temple parking lot. There will be enough time in between to eat lunch at the Cole Rd. church building if you would like to sign up for both classes.
